By creating an account or using Circles, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Who may use Circles
You must be legally able to agree to these terms. If you are below the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or guardian must approve your use.
Consent and acceptable use
You may only invite, locate or monitor people with their knowledge and valid consent. You must not use Circles for stalking, harassment, coercive control, discrimination, surveillance without consent, illegal activity, or to violate another person’s rights.
Your account and circles
You are responsible for activity through your account, protecting access to your device, and choosing trusted circle members. Keep invitation links private. You may stop sharing, leave circles or delete your account using the app’s controls.
Location limitations and emergencies
Locations can be delayed, inaccurate or unavailable because of device settings, battery level, signal, operating-system restrictions, network conditions, VPN use or a powered-off device. Circles is not an emergency, rescue, medical or law-enforcement service. Never rely on it as the only way to protect someone or contact emergency services.
Your content
You keep ownership of profile photos, circle names and other content you provide. You give us a limited permission to host, process and display it only as needed to operate and improve Circles. You must have the right to provide that content.
Service changes and suspension
We may change, limit or discontinue features. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to prevent harm, address misuse, protect the service or comply with law.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available” to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or perfectly accurate locations. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Circles is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages. Rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.
